Kids 4 Broadway has produced over 100 children's theatre productions since 1991. Director Connor Snyder, former professional actress (M*A*S*H) and writer/producer (HBO), is now conducting educational seminars to School Age Care professionals all over the country on how to run a successful children's theatre program.

We all know that when financial budgets are running thin, cultural arts programs are one of the first to be cut by school district administrations. Thank goodness for corporate entities and other "in-the-black" foundations and institutions to recognize the incredible importance of developing interest and fundamental teachings to our children in the basic need for arts in our communities.

The United States Air Force has recently contracted Kids 4 Broadway to engage in these full one-day 8 hour seminars for their Youth Center teachers.

Morning sessions concentrate on the IDEE of children's theatre (Ignite, Direct, Empower, Engage). Attendees will receive hands-on experience in pantomime, improvisation, theatre games, vocal exercises, emotions, etc. After lunch, they will be directing scenes from Snyder's one-act plays written specifically for elementary and middle school students (with specific side-coaching from Ms. Snyder or one of her staff).

Each seminar will include a complete 14 play package - free of charge.
